Boring out VMR's,.......

Boring out VMR's,.......
I have been finalizing a deal to have some GM VMR's installed on my S4 tomorrow.
I suddenly found out that the deal is not boring out other wheels to accommodate (and want to charge me for the boring...but that is another issue).
Now I know that all wheels start from a common blank to be bored and bolt patterns added at a latter point, but my concern is fatique and non-releaseed stresses due to the heatreating process (forming and after paint)....is this an issue that should concern me?
Forego the aftermarket boring and purchase OEM 66.6 bored wheels. Warranty impacts with VMR?
I am actually a little ticked that this was sprung upon me the day before I am spending a few grand with this dealer........

Re: Boring out VMR's,.......
yup, and the boring worked out fine. Was going to order some wheels in, then my wife was changing her mind on the style (I always get her input as the green light for upgrades is so much easier) and then went to wheels that needed to be bored.........no issues at all.

Re: Boring out VMR's,.......
you bought wheels and had them bored out bigger?
My B8 A4 Avant has VMR708 that VMR bored out a hair too big...so they cause vibrations. Drives me nuts, and they're being LESS than helpful to say the least.

Re: Boring out VMR's,.......
Where did you get the VMR's from and whom did the boring.........possibly same issue.........

Re: Boring out VMR's,.......
I spent $150 getting road force balanced...but the vibration wouldn't go away...then someone pointed out the overbore. Great.
SO those were sent back to dealer...and VMR sent up a brand new set pre-bored by VMR
those vibrate too. Epic fail.
dealer here said 'come see me after the winter season is over and we'll straighten it out'. I did this spring/summer, and he said 'leave it with me...I'm emailing back and forth with VMR".
That was August 18th, and I haven't heard back (despite my emails saying 'hey any news')
Not sure if he's just really busy...or geniunely doesn't want to deal with me? Not sure but I think I'm about to launch a pretty comprehensive negative PR campaign against VMR wheels on Audizine. I haven't posted on there for a year, but I'll break that code to do this.
