Audi A4 2006 Trip computer
It looks like the 2006 premium package for the 2.0T CVT has a missing
trip computer. Looking at the manual there should be buttons on the
wiper stalk but none there on mine! Could this be a mistake?!?!
I can't believe that the trip computer would not come with this model.
Even my base model Passat had one -- what gives??
Does anyone know if you can install it aftermarket? I can't be without
one after using it extensively in my Passat.
Thanks!

Not sure what country you're in but in the UK the trip computer (DIS) is a
cost option although it may be standard on the SE spec (used to be anyway)
As for aftermarket install, you'd need to change the instrument panel and it
would get *very* expensive. TBH, I don't think it was worth the £300 it cost
me. The MPG read out is very optimistic and I just tend to leave it on
remaining range which I believe you get on a standard model anyway.
