Re: Aircondition
is it me, or do audi's have a very high number of air conditioning
faults? my 2002 A4 has already been in the shop for a leak. they
topped off the coolant, and it cools again, but i know that i'll have
to do that over and over again. i've owned about a dozen cars in my
life and i've never had to top of a single one. now, the most
expensive car i've ever bought needs this in 4 years time.

Re: Aircondition
How does one 're-gas'?
I can buy a recharging cannister, but on my 1996 A4, I cannot find the charging nipple.
On my previous Chevy Lumina the charging point was easily accessible from the wheel well, and one charge in spring kept me cool all year.
Can anyone help me with this?

Where are you guys?

Re: Aircondition
I have a 96 A4 and the same problem. Currently, the AC is blowing hot air. I have a feeling some air vent flap may be stuck as I had the same problem a year ago and it fixed itself. All the buttons on the climate control seem to work but still no AC. Is there a flap somewhere that might get stuck? This seemed to happen when I pressed the recirculate button. Does anyone have a diagram of the position of the AC and heat vents and if there is some flap that mixes hot and cold air?
