Default A7 Hatch

Issue number 1:

At 3 weeks old with only 875 KM on the dial one fine day out of the blue:

- The hatch doesn't open, the remote hatch release button doesn't work
- The hatch button doesn't work
- The release button inside on the door doesn't work

There is no response, nothing, no noise, no errors nothing at all.

I must say I am very surprised.

First service call is in order.

I found this online: . "The one thing I stress to clients is that you have to OWN your car. One problem I found at Audi is that there is a valet mode button in the glove compartment of the new A7 and when its depressed the trunk will not open from the door switch, the fob or the tailgate button. it’s covered in the owners manual and you won’t believe how many clients come in stating their trunk won’t open. It wastes not only the clients time but our time. READ YOUR MANUALS PEOPLE!!!!"

Is it safe to say no issue thus far?

Definitely a handy feature when valeting the car, but not the first one to inquire.

Cheers,
Paul

No issues whatsoever. Beautiful car. It's like a hybrid between my 2010 Q5 and my S4, luxury, power and function all packaged up.

For all those A7 lovers, I have successfully programmed the remote to not only open the hatch but also close it - via vag-com.
