How Can I Tell if the car has Keyless Entry/Start

How Can I Tell if the car has Keyless Entry/Start
I am thinking about getting an A5 or S5 somewhere around the 2010-2011 vintage.
I am trying to understand when I am looking at pictures or features how to notice if the car has the advanced key system.
Is there an easy way to see what year that started and how to notice from pictures if the car has it?
I thought I read somewhere that a push button start doesnt mean that you can start the car with the key in your pocket.
Can someone make this easy for me?
Thanks
Chad

There will be a start/stop button to the left of the shifter right below the ebrake if the car is equipped with advanced key.
This will alow you to keep the fob in your pocket when unlocking/locking your doors and starting the car.
It's the red ringed button in this picture of my car...

Ok, so I have seen that on several models as I have been looking at pictures, but I have seen some where there is a button and also a key in the dash.
I have included a picture to show what I mean... this is from a 2014 A5, so it might not be the same - but I have seen others where the key is in the dash.
So 100% if I see the push button start, (older models also) that would mean you keep the fob in your pocket the whole time?
Thanks again.

100% if you see that button it's advance key, keep the key in your pocket style.
With the advanced key you still have the option of putting the key in the dash and starting the car. I did it once on my car just to try it...

Re: How Can I Tell if the car has Keyless Entry/Start
Sorry for working off an old thread but instead of starting a new one, I thought I'd carry on with the same subject. I'm really hoping someone can sort this one out for me because I am finding all sorts of conflicting info on the internet about this subject...
I bought a 2010 A4 a couple of weeks ago. It came complete with the push button start and was advertised as having the Audi Advance Key. I can start the car by just pressing the button but I cannot unlock the doors without pressing the remote control. Just using my hand on the handle doesn't work. I bought my car at an Audi dealership and I went in on Friday and had my salesman show me how it worked. He couldn't get it to work either and said that I must not have that feature.
Are there two different models of Advance Key? One that only starts the car with the remote in your pocket (and you have to press the remote to unlock/lock) and another that allows you to do everything when the remote is in your pocket??
Thank you!

I didn't realize that I had posted this on the A5 page. I tried to delete it but I can't find that option. I reposted on the A4 page. Sorry!
