Dakota Grey A6

Re: Dakota Grey A6
My former vehicle was a 2011 S4 with black styling package and titanium wheels. I liked the 2012 A6 look and room in the back for passengers (tight in the S4). My A6 has the S-Line package with 20 inch wheels. In terms of performance, the S4 (obviously) is better, but marginally. Acceleration is strong and the 8 speed auto shifts smoother at lower speeds than the S4 DSG (i.e. less abrupt) but definitely missing the DSG quick shifts under full throttle. Also, the A6 did not have the adaptive suspension or differential options available so it under performs in the handling and cornering aspects.
The A6 interior is better (excluding the seats) and I like the pop-up monitor (although worried about reliability) and gas mileage is better (perhaps more because I feel less inclined to drive hard with the A6 than S4).
Overall, I like the A6 as it's a better daily driver than the S4 with still enough performance when I want to drive hard. When I don't need the back seat room, I would return back to the S4 or S5. The S6 would be a consideration but at that price point, I rather buy an used Porsche. If you would like any specific details, just PM me.
