Re: Calling A6 Owners...
I drive a 2003 A6 and was hoping to get help in using the menu for the dashboard. According to the manual, the menu control should be by the side of the gear shift. In my case it only has one control, which is to control the side view mirrors. I have tried contacting the dealers, who have been unable to help. Any suggestions??

Ahlam, I believe the control you are looking for is at the end of your wiper stalk. It has 2 nubs on the end - push it up or down and it will cycle thru the info. Further along the stalk is another button (on the bottom of the stalk) and that clears certain information. I hope that is what you are looking for.

Re: Calling A6 Owners...
Hi all,
2001 A6 4.2, Nemo Blue exterior, Melange ( I think) interior. These cars are maintenance heavy, but worth it!
So far I have changed: Timing belt, water pump, associated pulley's, thermostat, Tranny fluid/ filter, Differential fluids (anyone know if there is a drain plug for the front diff?) I'm in the process of changing front wheel bearing as I write this (taking a break) Entire front end (8 control arms, 2 sway links, inner/outer tie rods) VAG-COM'ed tranny to stop shifting out of 1st in tip-mode, and the oil!
Mods: RS6 grille, RS6 spoiler, Dremeled out holes in the rear bumper and fitted exhaust tips, gutted the Blows(BOSE) stereo and re-wired entire car (new speaker wire if you want to install aftermarket amp - still a mystery) 0 awg to the trunk.
Do you guys think it's cheesy to re-badge a 4.2 with RS6 emblem???

Re: Calling A6 Owners...
Great looking ride - I wouldn't put on false badging - I would just debadge instead! Maybe consider some lowering springs - narrow the gap btwn the fenders and tires. If you did the T/B solo WOW! Lots of work!! Mine needs to be done this spring. Enjoy!!
