Hi i recently noticed a flutter / gargle noise when accelerating hard from low speed ie pulling away from junctions or when exiting corners and accelerating. Apart from this the car was runing well and accelerates very fast when you put your foot down. I decided to call into my local garage for them to have a listen. When we looked at the engine i noticed some small fuel leakage from one of the fuel hoses that go from one cylinder to another. when i checked the leaking hose it came off in my hand i put it back on but it didnt seem like a tight fit. the garage made a note of this and i booked the car in to be looked at. As soon as i drove out of the garage i noticed an instant lack of power andcould not get the car to rev more than 3000 rpm. I left the car at home for half an hour and then drove it again this time i could get the car to rev over the full range but it seemed to have no power / accelaration in the low gears it was as though the engine was really reving but i was not getting the speed to match
