Guys,

I have the same Car and Model. When I got mine it was already over 90000 mile. Not sure if it was changed or not. but What is the steps if I want to do it myself. I worked in Audi before but not this one. and how to get the fan belt out?

My profile picture is my timing belt job, did it at 118K km, better safe than scrap yard!

The belt itself is not difficult to change i used a 1/2 drive in front of the spring loaded tensioner there is not much space with the bumber ,rad and Air Con condenser insitu,i changed mine when i did the timing belt and had the whole front off,i removed headlights first then Bumper, Rad,Air con Condenser dont need to disconnet to loose refrigerant as there is flexible hoses that can allow the assy to be put to one side,take lots of photos at each stage for reference when refitting,the front cross-member that everything is mounted is tubeular because its the intercooler pipe also,observe carefully how things come appart as you remove bits,all fixing are torxs .try and get torque setting before the job most important,
