I want to order a bunch of parts for my 2001 A6 2.7T, such as oil filters, air filters, transmission filter kit, (5sp tip), sparkplugs, valve cover gaskets, etc. The online link someone posted for Auto Parts Online Canada (thanks btw) is great, but they don't have the A6 2.7T listed. However, the 2001 A6 S4 is in their data base. Can anyone say if the parts I've listed above would be the same between both cars? I'm working on the assumption that they are, but would like to hear if anyone knew fo sho.

Suggest to order engine parts by engine code. Your 2.7T engine code should be APB (double check to confirm) which is the same as B5 S4 2.7T. Know that the ECU's are different.

Everything you listed for engine parts are the same between B5 and C5 platform 2.7T

Could compare pricing with ECS Tuning to see which is better.

Sweet, thanks! Engine code was listed as APB on both models. I'll check ECS for pricing too, but the online place was pretty inexpensive, and included free shipping. Dumb hood prop rod that I payed $60 for at NAPA was listed for $20.
