If you disconnect the current sub and connect yours at the place it will work but i don't think that it will do someting very good. theyre is no or almost no cross over for the sound in the sub!
It cost nothing to try and if its not good install an amp amp =12v from the battery...
Me i change the factory radio, change front combo speaker only, keep the bose amp for all the speaker. It is enought power full.
Run rca from my radio to an amp on the back of the rear seat for the 2 sub 10 inch and a 12v from the battery. I leave the original sub connected.

i really don't want to spend any money sooo yea lol i just want to see how this sub i have sounds connected, if i like it ill keep it in the car,if not then meh i only spent 60$ on it
