A6 Door Issue

A6 Door Issue
My 2000 A6 drivers door will not open from inside or out. Door lock is fine - goes up and down using remote. Pull handle and nothing. We have had a tone of rain recently - could water ingress be a problem. Any thoughts or similar experience?
