I'm quite satisfied with the rack because it held up my cargo box securely during the trips I did BUT:
- it didn't came properly adjusted from the factory and kinda dented a bit my roof in one spot (not really noticeable). I've adjusted it and now it's fine.
- it leaves a rubber residue on the roof or removes some of the clearcoat (still have to investigate that)
So I guess it does its job but if you can do without a rack, don't use one.

Thule makes the Audi rack. Thule now has the pieces noted on the website to fit the 09 A4's. However it was more money than buying the factory rack for my A4 Avant from the dealership.
