Questions Regarding the Automatic transmission and DIS display
I had a question on the 2013 A4 automatic transmission D/S toggle mode. Are you able to switch from Park straight into S mode or does it always go into D mode and then you have to push down again for S?
If the transmission is in D or S mode I assume that normally no gear number is displayed, only D or S is shown. Is that correct?
If the driver shifts to manual mode on the gear selector, only the gear number is displayed and nothing else? Is that correct?
If you use the optional paddle shifters in D or S mode, what is displayed? Is it D1/S1 or just 1 for first gear?
