Protection Plans and Pkg(s)?
Hey guys,
My wife and I just bought a new A4, but I have some questions regarding protection plans and packages. Wasn't sure if these are necessary or what you guys recommend.
Tire & Rim Protection
Vehicle Care Package
3M Stone Guard
Rust and Paint Coat Protection
I was under the impression that you shouldn't fall for dealers "extra" stuff after purchasing your car, but this is our first car. Thanks for any help.

The 3M rock guard is a godsend. I would absolutely get it put on your vehicle - it really does prevent all sorts of chips and dings from rocks being thrown up in traffic. I've also found that it really helps the resale value of the car. As for the other options - I have no idea if they're worth it.

Agree on the stone guard.
I love the rim protection and the paint protection. It makes it so much easier to keep the car clean.
There seems to be lots of debate about the rust modules but the warranty that comes with it is pretty awesome.
Obviously the Audi Care maintenance package is a no-brainer.

I'm just worry about the seam line with the 3M Stone guard. I know it's only noticeable when looking up close but does it look "off" with it on? You guys have any pics of your car with it on?
Where did you guys have the stone guard placed? Bumper? Front of hood? Both?
