Sorry I haven't been updating been so busy..

But here's the update they replaced the breather valve and asked me to drive the car for 1000klm and bring it back so they can check the oil... Took it back and they advised me that didn't help, the car was burning 1.63L per 1000klm so now its on To stage 3 I have an appointment with them on Feb 3 I'm assuming its pistons? But I'll keep you all posted on what happeneds if it fixes the problem or not...

I have an A4 3.2 2009 and mine drinks a lot of oil too. I drive about 20,000km/yr.
It's tolerable, but I have to top it up between oil changes. Was told by Pfaff it's normal.

I cant really say esp your car is 3.2(beast!) who did you speak to in PFAFF AUDI try talking to Kelly he's my adviser and he knows his sh*t plus very helpful!.

Hey Sorry haven't been on this for so long been busy.

But just wanted let everyone know on regarding my problem.
Its been resolved(yay) the dealer replaced the pistons.
if you guys like I can copy and paste exactly what the mechanic did let me know.

Quick question for you guys, I recently got my 2011 A4 it had 33000 km on it and i have since put another 3000 km so I'm at 360000 km on it and I haven't lost any oil yet.

Does it matter how many km's are on the car before you start noticing the oil consumption or can the oil burning occur whenever it feels like it?

Mind sharing what they did on your car? I'd be interested to see the list of parts that were replaced.

Did they recommend a break in period after the pistons were done?
