Hi All,

I will post pics soon... but I just got my Sapphire black A4 2.0T with the following:

Navigation
Sports Package
B&O sound
I-pod cable
tints
Audi care
and that clear plastic protective film in front
chrome tailpipe
financed over 72 months at 2.9% (I am poor

Some things of note...

1-I came from a G35x... and I MISS the keyless entry and keyless go... My advice... get the technology package, even if it is soooo expensive!

2-I already have a chip in the paint on the drivers door handle... could it be that Audi has cheap paint now and my fingernail scratched it off? the car is 3 days old!

3-My tint has some bubbles, can I ask for it to be redone? I bought the car in Montreal at Audi Lauzon from this hot sales girl... I am weak, I know.

4-On delivery, she gave me only one key... how many keys am I supposed to get?

5- How should I break the car in, I have kept it under 3K RPM so far, have 400Kms right now

6- Is there a good interior cleaner that is safe, I am finding fingerprints and dust show clearly on my black interior

7- The key fob opens the trunk for me, very nice, but is there an easy way to close the trunk without touching the outside of it? I am **** about handmarks.

8- I am trying to figure out which item in my intrument cluster shows me the average gas consumption rate? I would like to reset this every fillup and guage how the car performs... does the trip computer keep a history of this? My G35x kept the last 15 resets stored (I had the navi on that one too)

9-B&O does not seem like it has enough oomph, do I have to set GALA on or off?

10- anyone have a spoiler (oEM front or back) does it look good?

11- I find a lot of brake dust on the mags, if I dont clean this off regularly (every drive) does it bake in or do damage to the mags?

12- any value in getting splash guards?

13- How do I get voice control to actually work! How do I train my voice to it? It always says "pardon me" How much can the voice control actually do? Can I select radio presets with it? Can I select phone entries?

Hey, I just got mine on Friday as well. Silver on Black - Premium, Sport, Tech, B&O, tint. Here's what I think..

1. Keyless entry/GO is good, but the Tech package did seem a li'l pricey to me too.

2. You should talk to your dealer about the paint chip, they may be able to touch it up & buff it so that it blends in.

3. I would suggest you wait for the tint to dry up completely, and then ask them to re-do it if it still has bubbles. Most tint jobs come with lifetime warranty. I think some chics like perfectionists

4. You're supposed to get 2 master keyfobs, 1 emergency keyfob (goes into your glove compartment) & 1 wallet key (which you put into the emergency keyfob in order to start the car). Again, go ask her about it.

5. In my opinion, since most engines these days are already bench tested, you should do the break in as you wish as long as you're not crossing 3/4 of top speed (according to the manual) and the usual no hard acceleration/deceleration.

6. Don't have much experience with an interior cleaner that would repel dust. I just use a micro-fibre cloth for lifting dust and Leather Cleaner for the seats.

7. Inside the trunk lid, there's a black handle on the right side which is meant for pulling it down. You just have to do it quick with some force so that it goes all the way & locks.

8. I doubt it keeps history, but there's two average fuel economy displays. Trip 1 records your trip from last start, and it will add onto it if you restart within 2hrs. Trip 2 keeps your overall. The average number are the ones with the null (greek 'phi') besides them.

9. I haven't played around too much with GALA yet. Although once you set the treble, midrange & bass..it should do something for you.

10. I saw a couple of aftermarket spoiler links that were posted on this forum, do a search.

11. I would recommend cleaning it off regularly (once a week or 10 days) otherwise, I've noticed that it can get pretty hard to remove from the corners. I must admit that I do like the way the sport pack rims look with the dust on 'em though.

12. I've been thinking about splash guards, haven't come to a verdict yet.

13. Haven't figured it out yet. I'm assuming it's in the MMI Instruction Manual which I am yet to read.

Wow thanks for your answers, helpful... true the trunk lid has to be pulled down with some force... again, I am spoiled by my G35 that did not require much force.... the leather in the sprts seats I have feels much nicer then the non sport package... are they both real leather?

Yup, I believe all Audis come with leather as standard. The biggest reason why I got the sport package was the seats w/ the extendable thigh support. Otherwise I would've gone for the Audi Drive Select - adjustable suspension.

Pls no splash guards. They make your car look like a Jap. Don't downgrade it.

Really no to splash guards? I am getting a glossy black grille though, like the 3.2 one... on a black car I dont like the grey grille!

The thigh support is great. I can't figure out why it's not available on "cheaper" cars though.. ie: why don't 20k cars come with that?

Thigh support is awesome...GET THE SPORTS PACKAGE! I just wish I had the black headliner that comes in S-line, but alas, S-line only available on 3.2...

The sports steering wheel is so awesome, I love to grip it...

Its called Protec, was offered by dealership... already worth it... 2 months in and my car looks good, but I got a door ding... did you know that our cars are made of steel and not aluminum?
