I bought my A5 in the US but then imported it into Canada a few years ago.

Anyone know if I'm covered for this lawsuit too?

Thanks

Has there been any updates on this, I bought a 2009 A4 2 weeks ago (March 31st 2015) and bringing it into Audi this week to have them check the add oil light. I'm assuming I have this oil consumption problem them everyone has been talking about.

Hello,
What is latest on this? Audi Canada is refusing to complete fix because I cannot supply all the service records...technicality. I have been a loyal to my car since I have purchased it taking to the dealership for service. Audi agreed to pay for part one of Oil Consumption test (which the car failed) but will not pay for the repair. I feel at a loss here because 1) it was a known issue by Audi, 2) I feel they are using the service records as a cop out and 3) they agreed to cover the 1st test but when it comes time for action they default? It is unbelievable how I am being treated. This is not what I imagined when I bought an Audi.
Thanks,
Mike

dirtymic,
Call Audi Canada and see if they can help you out.
I was lucky enough to find out where my car was serviced by calling all of the Audi dealerships in the GTA and giving them my VIN #. Once I went in and gave them proof of ownership they gave me all of the service records for the car. Good Luck

Unfortunately I have been unable to track down the service records. Not really sure how relevent they are anyway, wasn't the engine broken even before it left the factory?

Angry Re: Audi Canada - Class Action suit - Please contact me.

My 2011 Audi Q5 with 77000 klms and just out of warranty needed to be towed to the dealership today at the suggestion of the dealership after I called them when a warning light came on "Low Oil Pressure - Stop the vehicle immediately". Well, that's a little difficult when Highway driving.
I have always complained about the excessive oil consumption and have repeatedly been told - it's normal.
They are replacing 2 components 1) crank case breather and 2) pressure sensor. And after the Audi Goodwill discount it will only cost me $86.00 instead of $210.00. Why should it cost me anything when Audi has admitted there is a problem and in the US Lawsuit and through a letter I received from Audi Canada they have extended the warranty to 8 years/80,000klms.
Big Concern - what's my vehicle worth on a trade in or how has this affected the resale value. Who eats that?

I have a 2011 A4 Sline that I purchased with 40,000 km milage and went last week to top off the oil. I just checked it (driven around 200km) and it shows that it dropped. I did not think it would drop this fast.

Anything I can do? I purchased a warranty for it that should be honoured by Audi as I was told by the dealer that I got it from.

I have a 2011 Q5 and it needs oil every 3/4 weeks..no satisfaction with dealership or Audi Canada-in face customer service reps exceptionally rude..service dept has said the problem will only get worse! Very interested in class action suit.

The Canadian Audi Q5 'CAEB' are in warranty from Audi Canada up to 130.000 Km regarding the Oil Consumption, and MCU no-mater if you are first Audi owner, or you bought it from a non-Audi dealer . I had the same problem and it was solved at Pfaff Audi New Market, where, no joking, Audi representative were very prompt and professional. I suggest to call Audi Canada , check your VIN and take it from there.
If it takes 1L (full indicator empty) in less than 3000Km they should fix it.
