Hi guys,

Just got a 2009 A4 2.0 without NAV. Any idea where I can find an audi Nav system unit....either used or well priced for new. I wanted to remove the unit in the car now and replace it with the Nav unit if possible. They should be a direct swap....Seems to be the same unit with or without NAV....I can't find a unit anywhere.

Not necessarily a direct swap, you'll need a new center console.

Pfaff Audi told me this might cost somewhere around $4000 to do post-manufacture.

Not an easy thing to do. The center console is totally different.

lol.. that sucks. i thought starting 2005.5 models and up should automatically have a nav system in.

I'm glad they don't! I've got no use for that and couldn't see myself paying the jacked up price if it included it! Gamin GPS FTW!

^ this is exactly why Nav is an option. People who don't care about the money and like the cleanliness will have no qualms paying extra. I think it's a good compromise.
