2013 a4 vs 2012 a4

Re: 2013 a4 vs 2012 a4
There's also no "sport" mode on the base 2013 A4 - just a manual shift option. Used to be "S" mode on the 2012 that kept RPMs up and delivered better acceleration/performance, but used more fuel.
Also, probably just in my head, but the 2013 doesn't seem to have quite as much power and acceleration overall.

Re: 2013 a4 vs 2012 a4
I love the new refresh...especially the front halo effect headlights and streamlined back side giving it an A6 look
Not sure if i purchase a 2013 Ibis White next year with Sline if it is available?
or hold for the complete redesign in 2015?
So far the refresh brings important corrections:
The A4's MMI has been simplified for 2013, with four buttons in place of last year's eight. I'm not a big fan of dials; they require you to spend a lot of time looking at the screen instead of the road. I think touch-screens are quicker to use and therefore and safer. (Voice commands are safer still.) Still, I appreciate Audi's attempts at simplification -- and the fact that there are enough redundant buttons to run the stereo and A/C without using the dial.

BTW, I chose to wait for the 2013 for the exact reasons you mention. + the fact the interior finish is a notch up from where it was prior to this year.

Amen to that...you have literally said what i was thinking!
I am still enjoying my 05 Audi with now what 35,000km lol
Even my mechanic always tells me to NEVER purchase the 1st year of the complete redesign same thing with my B6
Always wait at least one year...
Since this is your first Audi it is very very wise indeed to get the feel via leasing for 3 years and then purchase this stunner! I am certain with this totally new B9 platform the engine will at last be new and revised to compete with the new 2.0 3 series and teach them along with Benz a lesson or two lol

Re: 2013 a4 vs 2012 a4
First tank of gas on my new S4 2013 at 439.4 Km and it took 47.725 L to top off.
I am driving on the speed limit ever since the delivery of the car and combined KMs on 1/2 and 1/2 hwy city roads.
