Thats odd, I'm in Canada and my dealer said it was a recall repair item so they fixed it.

Mine has passed the warranty limitations as well. The day I bought the car, I left the dealership and the low oil light came on so I went back and they added some oil. He told me that the car did have an oil burning issue previously with the 2.0 engine and he said that many things were now brand new in the engine, including new piston rings due to a recall repair that they had just performed. I'm heading to my dealership today to pick up a new bluetooth mod so I will enquire more about that when I'm there.

You would go to the dealership and have them take the inial test in which they fill your engine up with oil till its full.
What you do next is before your car hit the 1000km (preferrably between 800km and 900km mark) mark
You drain exactly enough oil to make it a 1L deficit (you will need to lift the car and unscrew the oil pan drain plug), enough so that the min. oil message appears on the MMI
After draining the oil make sure you clean the oil pan well so it doesnt seem like you did it yourself, and give it some time to dry
Take it back to the dealership and let them do the rest (they will confirm that the oil consumption is too high and will schedule the rebuild)
Your Welcome!

I'm thinking that if my 2010 with 124000kms on it could get all this work done for free under this new Audi warranty extension (that everyone with the 2.0 received apparently), why not everyone else?? Am I missing something?!?

I found out that if you cannot find oil change documents for even few changes they will not honour the warranty.Audi Canada really needs to realize their reputation is going pulled thru the mud because they wont admit there is a manufacture issue and just do a recall on the problem parts. No more Audis for me.Doesnt surprise me with the VW fiasco, same dirty company.
