I'm waiting for mine.....Avant Premium with Sport, Technology and Nav pakages; Ibis white on Cardamon Beige/wood.
I've just ordered Orange Electronic's TPMS with 4 extra sensors. TPMS is critical for me and I almost did not order this car because Audi does not offer TPMS on the A4 line in Canada....silly...it's mandatory in the US on all cars.
I expect delivery in May.
I've seen a white '09 Avant around my area and they look slick. It was the other colour I was considering. Mine is similarly equipped but I really hope you also opted for the B&O system.....it's WELL worth what they're asking for the option. It's really an incredible factory stereo. Overall the wagon is a beautiful machine and you'll be thoroughly happy and not getting it based on the TPMS would have been a big mistake. The lack of TPMS was a small let down for me as I check my tires fairly regularly. Let me know how the Orange system works out....I was eying it on tirerack when I ordered my winters wheels/tires.

I ordered the Orange TPMS from Tire Rack at US$159 for the kit. The extra sensors were $27 x 4 for my winter tires. I have two other cars with direct TPMS, '02 Jeep Grand Cherokee and '07 Porsche Cayman S, and it's nice to be able to see the actual pressures at each tire on demand. I'm hooked and can't do without knowing.

When you get the Orange system would you mind sending me the exact dimensions of the receiver unit (length/width/depth)? I'd like to see if I can integrate it in the factory ashtray location under the sliding door.

BTW....my brother has a '08 Cayman S....it's a sweet ride.

Here's a guy with a Porsche that's installed the system:
Installed aftermarket TPMS - Check it out - RennTech.org Forums

Thanks

I will do that. I think there is a 12V outlet in the center console and that's where I thought I would leave it. Your idea of the ashtray sounds good too. I will try both and see.
Thanks Cory.

Nice pics! I am jealous...I am trying to decide to either buy a new A4 2009 Avant or a BMW 2006 530XI....Bimmer is cheaper...however the Avant is a sexy car.

Funny you should say that... I was also deciding between a '06 530xi touring and the Audi. I'm very happy with my decision. The Bmw is certaintly a nice machine but with the Audi I had a full warranty and the Audi 2.0t has a ton of potential. The Audi also had all the latest tech that I wanted.

Wow amazing colour on the avant.

I'm just waiting for these to start coming out onto the used market in a few years....awesome wagon. Don't know why but I prefer the A4 avant look to the sedan now
