2009 A4 questions
So I've had my Audi for about 1 week. I've noticed something and was wondering if it was normal.
When driving normally for a few minutes and then coming to a stop light, the car downshifts, from 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1. When it goes from 3 - 2 and I'm not pressing the brake (i.e. I let friction do it's work and let the car roll to 2nd) I feel this sudden engine shake. I had a Mazda 3 before this and felt the same thing. Is it normal in a $50 000 german vehicle?

I have it too. Not sure if it's normal, but it's definitely there. Maybe the gear ratio for 2 is little off in terms of smoothness. And I think you meant Tiptronic, right? Unless you custom ordered yours.
