09 A4 2.0T Quattro Daytime lights?
Hi everyone, New to Audi and this forum, and have a question for you. In all the info that I have seen it says that the 09 2.0T quattro doesn't come with the cool LED daytime running light but my dealer says they do. What I'm wondering is there anyone out there that has seen that model or owns one that can tell me for sure.

You are both correct...sort of. For 2009, the LED daytime running lights (and bi-xenon headlights) are not available on the A4 2.0T FrontTrak and base model Quattro. The do come standard on the A4 2.0T Premium level Quattro and the A4 3.2. It was the same with the headlights on the B7. Base models came with halogen headlamps. The fog lamps served as daytime running lights on these cars.
Your dealer may be a little confused because all of the models ordered and delivering now are Premium level cars. The base model without LED daytime running lights (and bi-xenon headlights) will be available later on.

They must be coming in early or my dealer will be surprised on Fri when they are suppose to get a Base model transferred from Winnipeg. I am with you about them not coming with the LEDs,but I can only hope that Audi has changed it's mind since the brochure was put out.

It is possible, the brochures are always littered with disclaimers about changes. You don't want a premium package?

Yes the dealer is Taylor VW/Audi. I would like the Premium but with 3 kids in college I'm lucky I can swing an Audi at all but I always wanted to try one so the Base model it is.

Took the Black one out on Monday evening, had taken the 08 grey A4 out last fri. but was really impressed with the 09. The new motor has very impressive power for a 4 ,the only time you can tell its' not a 6 is when you first take off from a light it doesn't have the V6 sound. Ride and handling is amazing also. Driving the Black one sealed the deal for me.

Nice work! I felt exactly the same way. It's amazing the power and response that new 2.0T is turning out! It's SO smooth too. More refined than the '08.

Picked up the car Fri. afternoon and I've been grinning ever since . It doesn't have the LED daytime running lights so I had to give the boys and girls at Taylors who said they did a hard time. The car is great, very quiet, rides super, and the power and drivability of the 2.0 T is amazing . It has a very nice tight feel to it and I hate to say this but I can't wait to take it out on the first snow and see how the Quattro works. Getting the rear widows tinted and the paint protection film on the front next week. So far so good.
