Default Paint issue - any luck getting warrantied?

Hello fellow Canucks...

There is a thread going around on the Audizine B8 S4 board right now about paint peeling on the fenders behind the front wheels of B8 S4s (and apparently B8 A4s are affected as well): paint issue lower front fender

Based on the posts, Audi has been taking care of people in the UK and EU with this issue but apparently we're not getting covered here in Canada. The B8.5 (i.e. 2013+) models all have an upgraded fender liner that offers some protection to this area, which indicates that Audi has, to some extent, recognized that this is an issue.

I am considering checking with my local dealership to see if they'll address the issue on my S4, but before I do I was hoping I could go in there with stories of others having the same or similar issues covered. So to that end, can anyone chime in?

Thanks!

I had no luck because I was over 80,000 km. The dealer was sympathetic, but they had obviously been through this before with other customers and stated that Audi Canada has told them to not even try submitting a claim for this problem if the car is over 80K.
