Hey guys,

I drive a 2006 A4 which believe it or not is coming up due for it's Timing Belt change. I'm in traveling sales so I rack up mileage like crazy. I drive a Certified Pre Owned vehicle with extended warranty coverage to 160,000km.

The dealership wants upwards of $1200 to do the service. I clarified with Audi that if I take it to any certified mechanic, and use all original audi parts, that the warranty will NOT become void.

So my question to you guys, is do you know any great mechanics in the greater Toronto area that can do this service work for me for much less than the stealerships? I actually live in Niagara Falls and am willing to drive to anywhere between here and Toronto. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

$1200 for timing belt isn't terrible actually. In any event, I'll be having mine changed by Independent Tuning within the next few weeks. They do good work there.
