Studdering and no acceleration
Hoping someone can help.
This is on my 2007 A4 Quattro, Tiptronic
This just started happening today. If I accelerate medium to hard the car studders and I lose power. There are no dash lights, check engine lights, traction control lights, etc:
Max speed was about 90km/hr and max rpm was 4000.
Earlier today it came out of it and behaved normally. Just tried it again and now it seems solid. The only code I found was under 'engine' and shows "00135 Left Front Wheel Acceleration Sensor (G337) sporadic 002-Lower".
Can this be causing the issue? I clear it and it comes right back. Any thought on where to start looking? Haven't had much luck finding answers, the only thing I came up with was this on a different model car.
"it was a code for the lateral accelerometer, an ESP sensor located under the right front seat"
Do A4's have this sensor and is it simply a matter of replacing it?
If anyone has any insight please let me know.
Thanks.
