Reverse Tranny

Reverse Tranny
Does anyone know if it is normal for a delay in reverve gear for a 2006 A4 2.0T?
So basically the car revs up like a standard car before it actually starts to move.

Re: Reverse Tranny
I have this issue too. Thank the lord that someone else has noticed. Would you mind doing a test for me? Turn off the car, start the car, then immediately shift to reverse. If you stand on the brake, the reverse gear will engage, but then the car will lurch backwards 2-3 seconds later...very slow engage process.

yeah, you can basically feel it engaging a few secs later if you hold the brakes lightly enuff for it jerk a tiny bit. does that happen to you?
and also i have a small jerk when slowin downn from gear 2 to 1 .. i brought it to the dealership so they said they are goinng to change the body valve, does ne one kno what that is?
