I spoke with Audi Canada about the warranty. Their warranty is valid in Canada even though the Audi dealership will tell you whatever it takes to get you to buy here and pay an extra 5-10K.

That is absolutely true, the dealership in Edmonton said the difference is maybe 5k. I recently bought my Audi from a dealer in Connecticut and for a 2008 A4 loaded with nav, I paid $28000. Even after the taxes and shipping from across the country I still saved 15-20k.

Hey Chris, if you are buying your car from the States, check out AA Transport. This is the shipping company I used and they set me up with a customs broker to handle all the paperwork at the border. They were very good and cheap! Cheers
