New Guy Here!!!
Hey guys, I just bought a 2007 A4 Quattro and thought i would join in here..I am looking to buy some 19-20 inch wheels and maybe even lower the car a bit. Do i need to lower the car with the 19-20? Will the bigger wheels fill the wheel wells up? What tire sizes are u guys running? what kinda springs and part numbers if u have them? sorry for all the questions folks..btw if anyone has a nice set of wheels for sale please let me know....mike

Re: New Guy Here!!!
welcome to the forum Mike.
I am running 19s on my B6. tires are 235/35ZR19. You can fit 20s on an audi but your asking for alot of trouble. With my 19s, 2 days after i bought them, i hit a pothole and blew a tire bad. 20s your going to have even less!! you will probably need to lower the car otherwise you will look like your ready to go offroading. I went the route of springs, its only about a 2 inch drop from stock. others go to coil overs and drop it about 3 inches. Springs cost about $300, coil overs about 1200.
I know thats very brief but i hope that helps. Let me know if you have more spacific questions.

Hi Mike
If u wanna go with 20" rims its not a good idea, only more problems.
Im running 18's on my B6 with 235/40/18 tires and for me is the best set up with 2" lower suspension. I had 19s rims and like how they look but its no comfort, hard drive like wheelbarow depend what kind of tires u using, stiffer or softer sidewall. Other way sometimes 18' rim look like 19'. Anyway if u gonna buy bigger rims then stock think about lower u car 'cause with 18s or 19s you'll get big gap between tire and fender.

Thanks for the replies guys. Does anyone have a few pics of their cars with 19's on it so i can get an idea of what it will look like? Did u guys use a 19 inch tire with the same overall height?
