More HP
Just got my 2007 Audi A4 2.0 Turbo with 200 ponies. After driving a week with the A4 3.2 (V6) I notice the reduction in speed. Told about installing a chip to get an extra 50 HP.
Can anyone comment on this who have had it done?. Notice any difference? What are things to watch out for?
Also they're quoting me $800. Sounds excessive. Is this in-line with what others have paid or just Toronto pricing?

Re: More HP
I just got it done in Calgary for $500 (2 settings for the price of one....APR sale going on right now)
Paid an additional $150 for the upgraded DV.
It made a huge difference in performance and I recommend it....
though….I am a little concerned about damaging the engine sooner.
Also the price varies depending on what chip you go with.
APR chip for your model is $600
So $800 installed isn't that bad, but you should be able to find someone to do it for $700

Re: More HP
im guessing you went to Pfaff for this price on the GIAC softwear. If you dont mind driving a bit i would recomend Independent tunning or H2Sport. IT has the GIAC and H2S has the APR. Right now at H2S its 449 installed for the APR and thats also for 2 programs, not just one. If you go there i would recomend talking to jason, tell him shawn sent you over there. Bryan at Independent is a good guy as well. Most of the guys here know him as well.
