Hi there,
I have a 2007 A4 2.0T Quattro - and have a question about the front bumper. There is a 'round disk / cover' that is below the passenger light - what is this? What does it do? Is there something useful / useless behind it?

The reason I ask is because when I look - it appears to be just he factory tow hook unit - and it doesnt really look like it's of any use other than that. The one on my car has come loose & now will not stay on. Should I / Could I just glue it back on?

Sounds like the tow hook cover. Glueing it would probably work; however, what if you need access to screw in the tow hook ? Why don't you look into getting a new part (assuming the problem is the cover). I'm guessing it won't be too expensive - get in touch with Neil@Owasco Audi. He sells to Audizine forum members @ wholesale.

Nahhh, I just purchased a a4 b7 (*used) and got it home the other night. I didn't really take a good look at the tow hook cover (obviously) and when I went to drive out the next day it was just hanging there. Very odd. I looked to see how it would 'snap' back in - but it does not appear to have any place to snap. When I go to the dealer, I am going to ask for a drawing on how it's suppose to go back in ...
