If it is stalling check your in tank fuel pump duty cycle if you have a vag-com , should be about 50% at idle if it is anything above 60 ish it is sketchy ... just a thought

I had similar issues with my B7 2.0L.

You may be having issues with the relay inside the ecu box.

It took me many attempts to figure out what it was on my B7.

All the other advices are legit as it may be one of the listed issues i.e. N80 valve (which I also replaced with no improvement until the relay).

Took it to the dealership, it was the HPFP.

took it out, my cam follower had a nasty hole in it. replaced it, no more issues.

+1 n80 valve.... $40 fix.. DIY... right on top of the engine
