See my shield, it basically did what you are refering to, just a little bit less. I cut it off big time. Euro go straight up on the side like my projector pics and the diagram. Some of the better designed projectors don't need the upper part of the cut off as the projector is focused better so the light doesn't ride all the way up the cut off anyway. Either way, if you have headlight you really want, goto HID Retrofit Parts Projectors Ballasts D2S Bulbs and buy a set of BOSCH OEM Projectors, DS2 bulbs and ballast. It will image like a completly OEM projector and you can very easily retrofit it into any headlight you wish (ebay or otherwise) and have perfect HID's in the car.
