Check Engine Light

Re: Check Engine Light
2 cents worth.
K&N filter installed 18/01/2010. No engine lights.
I have said this many times on this forum, and don't want to sound like a broken record, but.....
.......your engine light could be from a dirty O2 sensor.
Before the stealership wants to replace it, do yourself a favor and run a bottle of Crappy Tire Xtra concentrated fuel system cleaner through your next fill up tank of gas.
If it is a dirty sensor, the light should reset before the end of the tank.
If it resets, repeat the process and it should stay out.

Re: Check Engine Light
No, any Xtra concentrated will do the same job.
The reason I say Crappy Tire is because it is half the price of Penzoil, Slick 50, etc. and exactly the same stuff!!!

Re: Check Engine Light
One more thing, there is a funny noise coming from the panel, like a cd player trying to find a track, is this the computer trying to find the problem or reset it?
Thank you so much for your help
