B7 APR K04 Turbo Kit
Hi guys, been browsing for info on the B7 APR K04 kit for a while now. Any one have some comments to weigh in on this option? Good, bad indifferent?
This is my first Audi and it's still under CPO warranty so I'm not sure if I should even be looking at something like this yet. But the idea of a nice stealth install that gets me some decent numbers sure sounds nice.
The APR ECU upgrade was a nice move but still leaves me wishing for more. Especially since I'm used to more powerful American cars.
I'd love to see some of these APR turbo options in person. Anyone running them in the Toronto area?

Re: B7 APR K04 Turbo Kit
head over to the cdn forum of AZ or QW as there seem to be more modders on those 2 forums ...
APR is a solid company but you can probably save a few bucks putting the required hardware list together and getting GIAC or REVO software.

I posted this thread sometime earlier. It may answer your question.

Re: B7 APR K04 Turbo Kit
Haven't checked out either of those....
AZ would be this one?
Canada
Couldn't figure out the other one.
I did see that post of yours Mike, but was looking for more info as far as people that are actually running that mod here in the Toronto area. It'd sure be nice to see one in person before taking the plunge.

Re: B7 APR K04 Turbo Kit
Found this thing too... A bit cheaper..
KMD Tuning - KMD 2.0T KO4 Kit
Wonder how that compares to the APR setup other than it appears to be cheaper.
Never mind I figured it out..... This would be for a front wheel drive setup.... Oh well.

In AZ you don't have to just look in the Canada section. Go search through the B7 sub forums and you should get some info. I think there are a few members in there that run ko4.

Re: B7 APR K04 Turbo Kit
Excellent links.. Thanks a lot for posting them...
I particularly enjoyed going through this one:
**-==SNEAK PEEK R.A.I. Motorsport Turbo Upgrade
I'd really like to see how this one turns out... Too bad I started down the APR upgrade path so far. We'll see as more details come out I guess.
