Default B7 A4 S-line suspension and 19" rims

Does anyone ride this set up? I was thinking about getting some 19's this summer but i don't want to do further suspension work. Is the ride a lot worse than with 18's?

19s are a special size. They seem to be size point where suspension work has to be done to maintain the feel of 17s and 18s. The ET of the rim becomes more important as well. If you just want the look of 19s then go for it. It is not going to make a huge difference. If you are an aggressive driver you will definitely notice it.

245s shouldn't rub but anything bigger and they will.

i have 19's on mine in the summer with 255's on. its little snug after i cut the middle clip at the top and removed that one screw. i also have eibach spring on. it will rub from time to time on big bumps on hwy. no probs on turn wheel full left or full right. this year i want to install coilovers so i can move it back up .5" to prevent any rubbing. rides good compared to me stock 17's. you can feel more of the road but its not awful.. you notice a bit more of the road but pretty good. small sacrifice for having 19's baby!

keep in mind I'm in a in an 07 audi a4

Had 19's and coils on my B7. The ride was actually better than with OEM 18's due to the weight savings of forged wheels (saved approx. 10 lbs per corner incl tires). I would strongly suggest looking at light weight wheels to gain the benefit of improved, ride, handling and accelleration. If on a budget, check our Forgestars as they're strong and lighter than many other wheels ...

Height was a shade over 25" fender to ground with 235/35's without rubbing except when loaded down with people and stuff in back
