Well, it's more a safety issue than anything else. The "buttons" on the DNX are so small you can barely see them and they are not tactile in any way, only visual coloured virtual buttons. The panel is touch sensitive so if your finger is 5mm the wrong way, you've selected an entirely different "button". You have to take your eyes off the road to make any changes. Of course I'd pay reasonable fees to fix this thing, but say $1,000? No way. $300 Yes way! I've already spent $250 to no avail. You're right, not much market for this application so no-one really wants to invest in design or production; but I gotta think that some wiring expert out there somewhere knows how to do this, and it would take no more than a few hours wiring. Can't be more because there are only so many wires and it's all close by. It's a knowledge thing. Question is, who has that knowledge?
