Since I drive one might as well chime in on this...lol

Well I bought mine in March of last year,came from a jeep so driving the audi was way more fun.

So far no real problem other then the stupid armrest latch broke off... common problem though..lol only real headache is pulling up the armrest to pull the e brake, that has frustrated me to the no end.


Daily driving the car was great all summer and fall, then came winter, honestly I was expecting it to be horrible, but to my surprise it wasnt I threw a set of nokians on her and she went through everything, though looking back I wish I would have purchased a quattro for the extra 3k, to this day my mind wonders how it would feel driving with quattro with all that extra handling and you're limited with power mods since its fwd .

All in all its a great car and I wouldnt trade it in for anything..... except a quattro

well... fwd and quattro is all wheel drive. better tracking and handling... lots of fun in the snow with quattro!

Spend the extra money and get Quattro. FWD is for American and Japanese cars.

I drove a FWD A3 loner last year and there is an INSANE difference to the quattro in my A4, I'd never drive without it for sure, audi made me a life customer after getting my A4 quattro

Since the OP asked the question, he may not know that FWD stands for front wheel drive. Obviously all wheel drive provides better traction and handling, especially in less than ideal conditions.
