Default Anyone else have a leaky B7?

I picked up my '07 Avant two weeks ago and today realized I have a water leak problem.

After I picked it up on the 11th we went out for dinner and while in the restaurant it poured rain. Upon leaving to go home both the ESP & EPC indicators lit up on the dash. The next day they were out & everything seemed fine.

Flash forward to today. Around noon a huge rainstorm went through our area and after it was finished I went out to the car to run an errand. On opening the door I noticed that the drivers footrest was covered in water drops. Further investigation revealed that the carpet was soaking wet and that water was dripping from the underside of the dash. Also the ESP & EPC indicators were lit again and after a couple of short trips the MIL came on as well.

The first time the dash lit up it was dark out and I'm thinking I probably had water on the floor then but just didn't notice it in the poor light.

When I originally test drove the car it had a cracked windshield but it was replaced before I took delivery. I'm wondering if a seal of some kind was not re-installed properly when the windshield was replaced.

Any of you have an idea of where it might be leaking?

I'm off to the dealer in the morning so I'll let you know what happens.

Dealer had the car from 8:30 till 5 today and spent 5-6 hrs working on it to hopefully fix the problem. All covered under warranty.

They found water was leaking into the plastic ECU housing and running down inside the wiring harness into the car. Hence the warning lights & MIL being lit. They found some corroded connections as well that they cleaned up.

Their fix for the leaky ECU housing was to use automotive silicone sealant on the seams where the lid and body of the housing meet.

I sure hope this does the trick.

I gotta admit I didn't see this coming on a relatively new vehicle!
