2008 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0T Shell Rotella T6 5W40
Just changed over my oil to the Shell Rotella T6 synthetic 5W40. 2008 Audi Quattro 2.0T A4 (B7) here in Ontario. I switched from Castrol Syntec 5W40 which is dealer recommended.
I ran a little sound test to show others that the oil does make somewhat of a difference in engine noise, basing on the (db) change in sound of the engine. The link is below to my little scientific experiment.
I have also noticed a smoother gear shift at all RPM ranges. In my opinion, it runs much quieter and smooth gear transition with the Shell T6. However, I have not noticed any difference in fuel consumption as of yet and if there is a difference, it may be 10-20 Kms on a full tank which could be from change in driving habits.

Looking to replace the stock radio in my 2008 A4 Quattro 2.0T. It has a Audio Symphony Stock in right now. Any suggestions as to make and model?

Just curious what others use for fuel in Canada for this vehicle. I have been driving on Shell V-Power 91 Octane. Anyone try the Esso 93 Octane or Costco brand?
