Purchased a 2008 A4 (which was supposed to be free of that follower issue) and it failed on me after a couple weeks of ownership. Talking with Audi now, they do have a 10y warranty extension for that failure. Happy about that, but they need to obtain the full pedigree of the car including oil change receipt etc...
