What do I need for for tune up?
I need to do a tune-up for my car. 2004 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro.
What are all the things I need to do a major tune-up? I'm going to try to buy and do it all myself.
Where do you recommend me buy these parts too.

Whenever I buy a (used) car, I drain all the fluids and replace with my choice. This includes transmission, differentials, brake/clutch, etc. I change the sparkplugs and all filters (oil, air, fuel, cabin, and AWD or transmission, if applicable), and replace every line in the vacuum system with silicone tubing. I also clean and lube everything that needs it.
In conjunction with a VAG-COM scan, the above work will turn you on to pretty much any work the car needs, as you'll be going over almost every inch of it
