Default Warning to Toronto A4 drivers

A good warning - 2004 S4 Avant down the street here is sitting on blocks today - between 4-5Am this morning a van was seen speeding away (no plates) and the Avant was left sitting on cinder blocks. They got all 4 wheels PLUS the seats!. This was in the Yonge/Lawrence area of Toronto.

Crazy - but must be done by a gang with someone with an inside knowledge of the A4 body! Just a head's up to be careful where you park...

And if you have a garage for god's sake use it!!!

Unfortunately, nothing you can do. I used to have a Pontiac Grand Am years ago and had my tires & rims stolen. Not my seats though... that sounds a lot more intricate. People will do it to make a couple $100. That's what insurance is for.

That sucks, if I had someone steal my wheels and tires i'd be furious. I live in an area that isn't too bad in that regard and park in a garage at home but its always worrying. I've had my car dinged and just now someone ran into it with a bike, can someone recommend a good dent shop :P ?

Good thing I got locking nuts when I got the winters put on. Bryan at independent mentioned that I didn't have any of them on and suggested I put them on. So I called up the dealership where I got my car and they said they don't come with locking nuts, thats stupid.

Your paying "X" amount of dollars and a car company can't include them! I though they did. Not to mention I got the titianium s-line package which has the 18" on.

Oh yeah, the dealership was twice as much as Bryan.
