Default used a4 reliability issues?

I'm looking at a 2005 a4 avant I love the style of the car, but after doing some reading online there seem to be concerns from non-audiphiles regarding the reliability of these cars. There were similar concerns regarding my 1998 volvo v70 but for the most part its been a great car.
are the maintenance issues going to be more of a factor than other cars or if you take care of the car, oil changes, timing belt etc it should be ok?

What is the cost of doing the timing belt? The car is about 67000km now

secondly, the car was formerly a CPO the seller states that there is warranty until 160km, is this possible? I thought the CPO was 120km

thanks for your input.

1999 Audi A4 Quattro 2.8V6 Sedan. Cream leather interior. I am looking to re-paint the door handles which are the cream color and the cream colored piece that goes over the window buttons. They are all scratched up and need re-done. Does anybody have what color that is or something close?

Did you just try to jack this thread???

back to the first post. Every car is going to have issues. The timming belt will need to be done at around 100km. cost ruffly 800...give or take a bit both ways.
Other then that....its turbo like your volvo so you have to pay a bit more for oil changes. Other then that just make sure you look over the car, get a carfax report and you should be good.

When I re-leased my B6 A4 1.8T, I purchased the CPO warranty - so for additional 2 years or 160,00km the car is 'covered'. There is a 50.00 deductible for warranty work and of course I had to pay for regular maintenance after 80,000 / 4 years.

Timing belt was around 800 at a GTA audi shop. Stealership wanted between 1300-1500.

I had 2 coolant leak issues - the flange and radiator had leaks, fixed under warranty.

Fuel pump went before the recall and one bad coil pack, fixed under warranty.

Other than that, just minor things like the headlight washer pump and some burnt out bulbs.

Nice ride, especially during this past winter.

Good luck!
