Hello, does anyone have the torque specs for a 2003 audi a4 3.0 upper and lower control arms? I had to replace the bushings so i need specs and currently dont have money for Bentleys manuel. I would really appreciate it if someone posted the torque specs.

Attached is an exploded diagram of the front suspension system for a 2004 A4 3.0L V6.
Can you let me know the part reference number from the diagram and I will look up the torque specs in the workshop manual.

Torque specs as referencing the numbered parts on the diagram posted as follows:
1: 75Nm
5: 7Nm
7: 45Nm
8: 40Nm
12: 70Nm and turn 180 degrees further
14: 110Nm
17: 10Nm
20: 90Nm
22: 55Nm
23: 110Nm and turn 90 degrees further
24 & 26: 40Nm and turn 90 degrees further
28: 70Nm and turn 180 degrees further
29: 75Nm
33: Pretighten to 15Nm, then M8=40Nm and M10=70Nm
37: 50Nm and turn 90 degrees further
38: 50Nm

These values are straight from the Audi tech repair manual and I hope this helps?

I ordered control arms from a website for my 2003 audi a4 3.0. There wrong, nothing fits. Now i need to get the next order right, i dont know if they missed up or i did. I have some pictures of my current ones if that helps. I need to make sure there right, and it would help if someone here had some previous experience to help me buy the right ones. The part that didnt fit was the spring on to the front lower control arm and all of the tapered shaft at the ball joint were different sizes

Remember to load your suspension - a hydraulic jack works well - before you torque any of the bolts!

ECS Tuning and VAG Cat are good sites to look up part numbers if you don't have access to the ETKA parts catalogue. ECS has pretty good prices, and quite a vast selection of parts as well.

Thanks, just ordered from ESC, hope there the right ones (fingers crossed) Now just gotta get at that dam 3rd middle bolt in the drive shaft. So hard!
