Default Taking Cat off questions?

Hello,

I'm new around here and I did a couple searches and couldn't find what i was looking for or maybe i am just blind. So please help me out.

I have a 2001 Audi A4 Quad 1.8t. I have a cat Back Borla Exhaust with twin tips in the back. This exhaust is great i love it gives it a good pur at normal speeds, but if you step on it it sounds even better! I'm just looking for a little bit more and a louder car. So since i have the exhaust set up with the muffler and tips i want, what are the needs to take of the Cat? I know im going to have to put in false O2 sensors, but i figure it shouldn't be too bad as its a 2001. So my questions are:

What do i need to do to take this Cat off? - Can i just take it off and put a piece of pipe in its place with the same width as the connecting and weld it?

Will I need a false sensor? - Where do you get them and how much?

Think this will sound good? - I think ill sound not to bad and be pretty loud.

( This is a borla muffler i have and same tips, sounds not to bad for straight pipe into muffler)
( I do like the sound of this though, for some reason)

Thanks guys,

You need test pipe and o2 sensor spacer.
