True but tire rack also has a warranty on any defects etc. with proof from a reputable shop ofcourse and the tire rack will replace the tire for free

I've always been buying tires from Tire Rack. I'm on my fourth set from TR now. Awesome experience up to this point. If you can find a shop that offers competitive pricing on tires like nlk125, buy from them. For $100 or less of difference, it will be totally worth paying that little extra amount of money if there's any defect in tires that needs to be taken care of. You'll be responsible for shipping charges when having TR take care of defective tires you previously bought from them unless you can find a local shop that is willing to deal with it.
Bridgestone RE760 is new, so I don't have any first hand experience with the tire. Its predecessor, RE750, is an awesome tire. I had them before getting Michelin PS2's. Personally, I think RE750's are almost as good as PS2's. PS2's give you slightly better grip in wet and are a bit quieter, but again they are in different leagues in terms of price and performance category.
Bridgestone RE960's are by no means all "weather" tires, but are the best all-seasons I've had so far. Quiet, awesome grip in dry for all seasons, exceptionally good traction in wet and snow, good treadwear. The only thing I hold against these tires is that its rim protector is not as meaty as RE750's. Maybe that is because I was running 235 on 8.5" wide rims.
BTW, the only all "weather" tires are Nokian WR or WR2.

nktanoli789,
Sorry for the late response here. My Kumos cost me 726 shipped to my door. Tire rack...if your also looking at rims, have a great price on rims but also mounts the tires for you for free. I got a set of ASA JH9's with the kumo rubber, 19's for 1700 shipped to my door.
The cheapest i could find in waterloo and GTA for that matter was 2250 plus tax. Even if i blow a tire, it will still be cheaper for me to buy another one from tire rack and have it shipped here.
Cheers,
Shawn
