Default Replacement fog lights

Hello all...needing to replace the fog lights on my '05 B6 A4, due to having spent a lot of time on the highway( lots of rock pitts/general cloudiness).Been looking around to find some less expensive alternatives than the dealer and came across these from ECSTuning..http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B6_A4-...Fogs/ES240617/

Listed as being the OEM fog lamp, manufactured by Magneti Marelli, for substantially less than the dealer wants! Anyone purchased these before, are they in fact identical to the ones' our cars came with? Also, anyone have any experience dealing with ECS? How's shipping times to Canada, customer service etc.

Thanks, Alistair

I bought mine off ebay for half the price they're advertising on ECS and they work perfectly and fit perfectly ( considering they're ebay :P ).

I got a pair from Ebay. They were shipped from Hong Kong and took 14 days to get here....I think the pair were 34 dollars and that included shipping. No duty was charged. Came with bulbs that lasted about 5 minutes. The housings aren't exactly OEM, but for the price you can't go wrong, just use your old bulbs. I have had them on my car for at least six months now with no problems and they look great.

If you order from ECS get ready they ship via UPS you will pay a fortune in brokeage fee's.

What we do here in Montreal we get them to ship to Freeport Forwarding in Champlain NY then we pay the fee's ate the border.

Rock Auto has them (including bulb) for $50 + $30 shipping (US to Barrie, Ontario). I believe thats still much cheaper than the stealership?

Just looking at the image you provided, and the fact they claim OEM equivalency, I'd buy them, in fact, if you have a website that I can use, I'll order a couple for my 04.

ECS is great to order from but be ready to pay duties and taxes ( found this out after i ordered the Aero wiper blades ), the Ebay ones some members have purchased fit the same as OEM and are half the price ( plus no duty, atleast i didnt pay duty or taxes). BUT being Ebay, the bulbs are flaky, the ones i purchased had 1 burn out within minutes, but this can be fixed with using your current bulbs.

But up to you!
