hey everyone i just bought a used audi a4 02 and i was wondering whats the diffrence between D and S on the Gearshift

Welcome to the forum! You can also use the search button to find this next time. The D is in normal drive mode and the S is sport mode! Holds the rev's higher!

and would u say there is alot of diffrence between them? like acceleration and gas waste?

the s mode stiffens the suspension, lets the gears rev higher and longer...
so yea, there is higher gas usage in S mode.

for daily driving D mode is suggested.
For launches, and track days, S mode is the norm.
